miss cate deserved her punishment (i mean…eye poking and scratching is NOT nice-just ask lucy).

but when i look at this photo, my heart melts.

those toes!

those leggings!

that ponytail!

the peeking!!!

i’m always having to turn my back and compose myself.

bite my lip to keep from laughing.

and i can’t EVER make eye contact with jimmy.

EVER.

unless i want to break into “church laughter”.you know the kind.

when you bite the inside of your cheek and you are shaking with tears streaming down your face?

and you try to act like you are “moved by the spirit” and not laughing when you shouldn’t be laughing?

yeah. that’s what these kids do to me.


now hold on while i put my straight face back on.

  12. Stephanie…they are getting HUGE!!!! My baby is 3 and half already and I can hardly stand that they are growing so fast!!! Man they’re adorable tho! Those leggings, that ponytail, those toes are so so adorable!

  13. Does she ever look like Harper in that last photo!! love it!! Oh, if I ever have kids, I’m afraid the are going to get away with everything…I laugh at my cousin’s and friend’s kids all the time, can’t help it. Oh, and since I’m going to be an auntie in approx. 6 months (YAY!!!!!) I am also going to spoil them rotten 🙂

  17. I just love that time out photo! I know that exact time is quickly approaching at my house and it is so dang hard not to laugh at their antics sometimes!! I’m right with you on the cheek biting and not being able to even look at your husband. 🙂 And that Easter hat photo just kills me. Thanks for the grin today!

  18. How cute! They are getting so big. It does get better! For my girls, the tantrums ended around 4 and as they get older they are so easy going. My oldest two are 13 and 15 and they are a joy to be around as long as I ignore the mess! So is my 9 yr. old, lots of fun.

  22. This is so funny … How do you MAKE kids that cute?!? Scapbook pages, home decor, babies … is there anything you do that’s not cute and absolutely adorable?!! Love this.

  25. Recently, at a funeral, my mothers stomach growled SO LOUD! My sister and I started ‘church laughing’!! OMG!Let me tell you the pew was jiggling. LOL! And naturally were were at the front since this was for our great aunt. When the funeral was over we scolded our Mom for not eating! Luckily, our great aunt had a super sense of humor and knew she was getting a kick out of us. Good times!
