and this is what my house regularly looks like.
laundry? is my nemesis.
i hate doing it. and i wait too long every time.
i force myself to wait until i HAVE to do it and by that point it’s torture. 92348023840328 loads in one day.
and then i have a ginormous pile of laundry to fold. see above.
yes. laundry is my arch rival.
but at least i can put these 2 to work.
mini cinderellies. π
happy wednesday, y’all!

Mine too. And I have HALF the bodies in my house to wash for.

Me three. I don’t like laundry either (and I only have two kids left at home). Your girls are so cute!! They really are little minis of the big girls.

the babies always make the craziest faces!! love – I force myself to throw a load in every single morning before I leave for work. then I throw it in the dryer before dinner and fold later (when I remember) while watching a show or just before bed. I can’t stand spending my entire weekend washing clothes.

Stephanie, I hate doing laundry too and there is only one of me. I don’t have my own washer/dryer so I have to go somewhere and do it. Here’s to someone inventing clothes that wash/fold and put away themselves.

laundry is the worst isn’t it? I also wait until I can’t even carry it up the stairs and then I don’t even fold it, just shove into drawers…lol…
Desiree says
I feel the same exact way!! I want to just have seven outfits, 7 pajamas for each person.. But I know it will never happen..Thank goodness for summer.. Less clothes!!
Kimber-Leigh says
agreed. my nemesis is putting the laundry AWAY. and mine is the worst. i always wait to do mine until it’s essential (read “running out of undies”) and then my basket alone takes 3-4 loads. ugh. just finished it today. good luck!

I have never mastered the fine art of keeping up with laundry! Thank you for the FF giveaway-my package of Washi tape, wood veneers, and a stamp arrived this week. Love, love, love it all!

Yes, laundry is never ending! And I have often had to re-wash clothes because I didn’t get them to the dryer right away, so they smell, or I left them in the dryer too long and they are wrinkled. Hate laundry! But it beats grocery shopping or cooking for me.
Vicky Wilbeck says
I am the same way with the laundry. I saw a sign on Pinterest the other day that said “Sometimes success is just getting the laundry into the dryer before the mildew sets in.” I think I need to follow Mary Rogers plan and do a little everyday but on a schedule.

The family that cleans together……, these two gems are just the cutest. Laundry, blah, I’m trying wash it, hang it, fold and not be consumed by the mother of sundry piles.

I used to get my kids to find and fold pairs of socks…a quarter for each pair seemed to be large enough of a bribe. We all seem to have the same attitude about laundry haha!

Oh I must be so weird – I LOVE laundry! I do it every day, I sort it so I have multiple loads and wash only like with like. I even like ironing! I love the scent of fresh laundry and spend ages selecting laundry soap so it smells just right. I find immense satisfaction in seeing it all folded and ready to put away. Mind you, I am only doing laundry for myself and my husband. We are buying a new house and redecorating the laundry is at the top of my list of things to do since I spend so much time in there.
