A. She is a terrible speller. Just like her daddy. And I find it endearing. We work really hard on spelling but it is just not an indicator of her intelligence. She’s a great reader and writer and a crappy speller. HA!
B. JUGGLING AFTER BEDTIME. That’s really all I have to say about this entire thing. Every time I read those three words I laugh until I cry. I am saving this forever and ever and eve.r
C. When she slipped this under my door there were tearstains on it.
D. I LOVE HER SO MUCH.
Juggling! What goes through their minds? This whole thing is awesome, except the tear stains. That’s just sad. Never change Harper.
Too sweet!!
Well, geez, juggling past bedtime? You have no choice but to ground her for life! Juggling past bedtime will clearly lead to nothing but a life of crime and general ne’er do wellness. Ha!
That note is hysterical, the creative spelling is great. That is such a keeper.
This is the best ever. Keep it in her memory box.
This is so sweet.
And, I would take a poorly misspelled note to explain the attitude coming from my twelve year old these days : )
That is all kinds of wonderful.
That is so sweet. What a good girl. Juggling after bedtime – bwaaah! My son loves Spelling City app on the iPad. Check it out, if you care to 🙂
So cute! You will treasure this forever! I wish my kids would write such nice letters when they talk back to mom and dad (haha, they are teens, it won’t happen (the apology!). Thanks for sharing this cute story.
Darling girl…”It is never ok to tslk to you like that…” I think she could teach most adults a thing or two about humility, apologise and generally just being classy. What a treasure!
Priceless! I have saved all of my daughter’s apology notes over the years!
Oh.my.God! I die. Into the Forever Box it goes!
Omg!!!! I can just imagine. Totally. So precious.
Btw I find this especially humorous since my nine year old son recently picked up juggling (like, last week) and I swear he does it all the time especially after bedtime. He’s gotten good at it!!! That and yo-yos. He also took up Origami and all he needs now
is to get a unicycle and he can go on the road.
when I first saw this on your instagram feed I read it to my husband we laughed and laughed. A bit later he came into the bedroom to join me and Madison in bed and asked me if I planned on juggling! too funny! she is a special, special little girl!
Bless her sweet heart. she is so so sweet steph. she has the most kind and loving and tender heart. I melt.
tara
That is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen! Definitely a keeper. 🙂
This is awesome. :)))
Lovelovelove this!
Oh my word. I’d be bawling, and laughing, and my tear stains would mix with hers. How can you be mad after that? I’d melt.
A few circus tricks past bedtime here as well, although judging by the thumps and bangs ours are more in the area of tumbling and flying trapeze. CJ xx
Aww! she is so precious, you are a good Mumma xxoo
What a sweet daughter you have. The note is all around awesome! Pull it out when she is a teen to remind yourself of simpler times. 🙂
What an incredible insightful young gal…..love the “atatud”! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and your life. it sure brightens my day.
Oh my… this is just the cutest!!! What a great note!! Totally a keeper!! My husband is the same way with spelling… it’s just not his strong skill and I find it endearing too.
That is totally awesome. you need to nip the juggling after bedtime in the bud. It can lead to some rebellious behavior for sure.
I love her too!
Content above form, wins every time! Besides, spelling is overrated 🙂 Thanks for sharing this, it’s much sweeter than my current dealings with teen boys.
Awww… This is so precious!!
DYING. This definitely must be kept, and perhaps displayed at her wedding rehearsal dinner or something:)
