this year was our first time to take all four girls to see santa. we have an awesome bass pro shop here and we'd heard that it was free (really?? no 25 dollar picture? YESSS!!!) so off we went.
i wasn't sure how it would go. there were several variables.
1. two babies- one of them was guaranteed to scream.
2. how to four children even fit in a photo with santa?
3. was sadie going to tell him he smelled like beef and cheese? b/c i was worried she might.
she didn't by the way, but this photo i snapped looks like she DID tell him that.
doesn't he look like he's saying…listen to me little girl. i do NOT smell like beef and cheese.
HAHAH!
it worked out beautifully. the babies didn't scream and we got a photo of all four!
look at the look on harper's face. i can hardly stand it!

We love our Bass Pro Santa…. but we live in Sprinfield, MO the HOME Of Bass Pro. The line tickets to see him are crazy, usually three to four hours out. But if you plan ahead it is worth it and the great backdrop too.

Cute picture! Your girls pose better than my 8,12 and 14 yr. old girls! My girls cannot sit still or all look at me at teh same time. It’s not like we don’t get a lot of practice! What cookies are you making? I’m making rollo cookies for our cookie exchange. Our entire area is out of rollos so I have just enough!

I can’t stand it either, Harper is so animated and cute!! What a treasure, a very nice keepsake, hopefully we’ll be seeing a page with this lovely photo on it, I am sure Santa would love to be in a gallery somewhere…lol…
So cute! I miss the Santa visits, but not the expensive photos!!! My guys are 15, 26 & 29. Not a chance for mom to get them to pose now.

my girls used to LOVE Bass Pro Shop, seeing the fishies there and stuff. My hubby used to love to go shooting there (his hobby)!!
I keep seeing all these cute Santa photos and my girls are too old now, so they won’t even go see him! I say to print this shot out, put it in a christmas-y frame and bring it out every Christmas! that’s what my mom does with a photo of my sister and I!
