Hmm. I’m just keeping it real here. Yes, there were wonderful, beautiful moments.
How could there not be? We were celebrating the birth of our Savior.
However, there were also lots and lots of ” 2 year old” moments.
We spent Christmas eve and Christmas day at my parents house.
I don’t think either kiddo slept much. They were sharing a new room,
Sadie woke up off and on all night,
and Harper was awake every time I came in the room to check on them.
So, needless to say, when they woke up at 6:30,
they were both pretty tired.
Harper was so excited to get downstairs:
She was pretty excited to see the “wocking horse” Santa brought her.
She did one single rock, and then suddenly laid eyes on what Santa brought Sadie.
A Radio Flyer walker.
And she decided she wanted that walker. With all of her heart.
The merriment of Christmas continued around her.
Sadie was in heaven!!
We got to talk to Daddy on Christmas day and that was my favorite gift.
Harper feels better today.
She finally caught up on her sleep and she’s not as frustrated.
Looking back through my photos, I caught this sweet moment,
as she played with the nativity.
Now this is how I want to remember Christmas:
I have a zillion more photos, I could share, but this post is already photo-heavy as it is. I’ll share more later.
I hope you had a blessed holiday, surrounded by those you love.
xoxo
