you’ve probably heard me talk about “survival mode” before.
i’ts doing whatever you have to do as a mommy to survive.
no judging, no guilt, no second guessing.
just surviving.
we are all ready for j to come home. this was harper’s school assignment a while back, an “all about me” chart.
so we are in survival mode big time.
what does that mean for us? lots of things.
movie nights, complete with popcorn and mama painting little toenails purple and aqua,
lots of bubble baths:
harper getting to make her own ‘ashion choices. i must say, she does a really good job!:
plenty of talking to the babies
letting sadie rule the roost when harper is at school:
using pullups for hats (what? remember- i said no judging!!!)
also:
really messy art (the more glitter, glue, and paint the better)- you should SEE my craft room. :),
piling in mama’s bed for one story after another,
driving around in the car aimlessly listening to music,
puppet shows,
grab bag (i went to the dollar store and filled a huge gift bag with treats, one bag per girlie. they may take one thing out at a time to play. it includes things like a flashlight, miniature cars, bubbles, crayons, stickers, etc).
and we are surviving.
survival of the fittest, baby.
xoxo
