here's how i found miss sadie this afternoon. she was supposed to be playing in the sprinkler, but she had other ideas. and YES, it is this warm in savannah!
no sir, she is not a priss. not a girly-girl…although she does love dress up and tiaras.
but she also loves making a BIG mess. watching football with her daddy. running, wrestling, jumping.
she falls down a lot but rarely cries. she climbs high, screams LOUD,laughs from her belly, loves with all of her soul.
she has the best facial expressions ever.
even when she's in trouble and she's VERY contrite…she smirks just like her daddy. this awkward, uncontrollable smirk. it slays me.
she loves life…
she pretty much just loves an adventure.
and i think it's pretty cool. REALLY cool actually. she's going to make one heck of a woman.
that's my girl. 🙂
speaking of girls i adore, my friend tina needs your vote. she is a CRAZY talented photographer and her photo is up for cover photo in this contest. please go vote if you are so inclined! she's #7 !
hope your day was beautiful and blessed…i'm hoping to carve out some creative time very soon so i can share a layout!

I think Sadie and I would be good friends. I love her spunk. That’s a great photo too; I love that you captured the muddy water in mid-splash.

aawww this is so cute, love it. I wish when my girls were little I had written all these moments down. Of course I’ve forgotten them now. So thankful that I scrap and write EVERYTHING down now.
Thanks for making me smile!

I love this about Sadie, goodness she sure reminds me of my Ava! Ava totally used to be this way, she’s gotten a lot more quiet in the past few years though, which makes me kinda sad. I quite like her loud!
Sadie girl, you are so beautiful and sweet!
stay that way!

You take such fabulous photos! I can’t imagine it being warm enough for sprinklers. Although we have had a very mild winter in MN, we are still super excited that it got to 50 degrees this week!
Oh to be young and jump in mud puddles without abandon! Great post.

so cute! I love that girls spirit. I swear, I think my three year old BOY is more squeamish about mud, ha!
Hope we get to see these photos in a layout soon.

Go Sadie, that’s all I can say. She reminds me of me, I still love sploshing around in puddles and I am 47..
Just voted for your friend.
Have a great weekend.

So funny that I knew this was about Sadie just from the title 🙂
She is so much like my daughter who I call my Tomboy Princess 🙂
Voted for Tina!

All 3 of my girls and all of their friends are just like Sadie! Love playing in the dirt! I really think it’s the boys that are afraid of getting dirty, not the girls. I wish it was that warm where we live. We can’t wait to wear our summer outfits!

Those are awesome pictures!

So cute! She’s a daddy’s girl, just like I was. My dad ended up having a son too, but his girl is the one who likes his hobbies just as much as he does. 🙂

And, can I just say that I love that you are raising your girls to be THEMSELVES?

Her zest for life is contagious. 🙂

She sounds just like my Audrey. Aud made snow angels in the dirt last summer and then kissed the dirt! Crazy girls!!! 🙂
