I got an email last week asking me if I’d like to try and review a new Marta Stewart Crafts product.
Do any of you that know me want to guess what I said?
It took me all of 2 seconds to reply Yes Yes YES!
And I really flipped when I saw what it was:
A doily circle edge punch system? WHEEEE! Love. And I loved it even more when I had a chance to play with it in person.
The system punches circles up to 12″ big. I used it to make 6″, 7″, and 8″ doilies.
After I punched them (SO EASY by the way) I was going to make a garland. But when I saw them displayed…
I knew that I wanted to use them on a layout instead. So I did. 🙂
So here’s the verdict.
I loved it.
And I’m glad I did because I would have not liked to write a negative review. Haha!
It was easy and painless. And this is coming from someone who is NOT good at figuring out how things work.Hence the reason I am never the one to put the toys together on Christmas Eve. Bahahaha!
The punch was not hard to use either. Like buttah. And the magnet system makes it impossible to mess up.
I loved the result with the vellum and next time I plan to use it on patterned paper to make garlands for the big girls headboards.
I’ll share when I do! I’m confident that this tool will not just sit in storage gathering dust. It’s perfect for this doily addict.
A few things you need to know:
Martha Stewart will be on HSN on Nov. 13 to launch the Circle Edge Punch. You can only buy it through HSN.
I also have a coupon code for all of you to use on all other Martha Stewart Crafts at MarthaStewartCrafts.com (remember, this punch is only available through HSN and not marthastewartcrafts.com)
The code is BLOG20 for 20% off.
Now go forth and shop! Hahaha! Hope you all enjoyed my review, happy Monday!
