H&M Black Friday Faves

When we lived in Italy, H&M quickly became my favorite for chic and affordable staples, and years later…it still is.

For Black Friday, H&M is  30 off Sitewide and there are a bunch of Doorbusters for up to 60% off.

Here are some of my picks.

 

  • Lace Trimmed Camisole – $17.49. Super cute French-tucked into dark skinny jeans with ankle boots and a blazer.
  • Quilted Shoulder Bag –  $27.99 Such a great price on a timeless and chic accessory. Love the chain strap.
  • Velvet Hair Bow – $6.99 Perfect for a holiday party, Pin your hair half up, curl, and add bow. I mean I don’t have any hair left but this is what I would do if I did, bahaha!
  • Wool Blend Coat – $139.30 The collar! The sash! The silhouette!! Yes, please.
  • Ribbed Cardigan – $17.49, comes in 6 colors. I have this in cream and LOVE it. The teenagers steal it all the time. SIGH.
  • Pajama Camisole/Bottom Set – $12.59, comes in 3 colors. I have this set in the short sleep version and it’s incredibly comfortable and cute.
  • Quilted Weekend Bag– $17.49, also comes in black. Love this little travel bag, comes with an adjustable shoulder strap as well.
  • Makeup Brush Bag – $6.99 I’m always looking for a cute and functional travel makeup brush bag, and this one fits the bill.
  • Chain Necklace – $6.99 My Gen Z daughters got me hooked on chunky gold jewelry and I love this chain. Wear it alone, or layer it with dainty longer/shorter chains or pendants.
  • Pleated Blouse – $24.49, also comes in reddish brown. I think this blouse is so classic and pretty. I’d tuck it into jeans or a pencil skirt.
  • 6 Pack Hoop Earrings– $9.09 Harper, Sadie, and I LOVE hoops right now and someone (ahem) tends to steal them from me and lose them. This set is adorable and cheap. Done and Done.
  • Glittery Skirt –  $24.49 I can see myself wearing this tulle midi skirt for a holiday party with some over the knee boots and a slouchy sweater or cami. Just beautiful.

5-6 Year Old Girl Holiday Gift Guide

Happy Friday, y’all! Today we have the very last of my holiday gift guides. I’ve had so much fun with these! If you missed the previous lists, so far I’ve shared a Teen Girl Gift Guide and a 10-11 Year Old Girl Gift Guide.

Cora is a whimsical, sweet girly-girl. So that’s who this list skews towards. If your kiddo doesn’t like the same things, this might not work for you.

But I hope you get some ideas! Here we go.

  1. Inchimals Math Blocks – I love, love, love play based learning and these blocks are such a fun and cute way to teach measurement, number concepts, and algebra.
  2. Converse Neon Unicorn Chucks– I mean COME ON. These are basically the cutest sneakers of all time. No explanation needed.
  3. Joules Floral Coat with removable sleeves–  Joules is a beloved brand in this home. The designs are precious and age appropriate and the quality is unparalleled. This fleece offer
  4. Crown and Wand Set– When we lived in Italy I discovered that H&M has the sweetest girl’s accessories. Love this whimsical and affordable set.
  5. Bitty Baby – Every little loves baby dolls and that’s a fact. Transparency: Over the past couple of years I’ve noticed that most of our baby dolls and books look like us. I’ve worked hard to incorporate Black baby dolls, Black literature, and Black culture into our home. It’s such a good thing to have inclusive toys and books in your home.
  6. Jumbo Dot Coloring Set  – Cora loves these dot markers and will play with them for hours. This set has so much in it, and for an excellent price
  7. Wiggle Car Ride-On Toy – This is Cora’s big Santa toy this year. Fun and affordable. She will love it.
  8. Rainbow Tutu Skirt – We can’t have enough tutus and tulle skirts in this house. This rainbow version is so playful and precious.
  9. Kiwi Crate Subscription – Literally can’t go wrong with these. We’ve been  Kiwi Crate customers for years. They offer kits for all ages, so do some exploring to see the full shebang.
  10. Reading Pajama Set – These are the cutest pajamas this bookworm mama has EVER SEEN. I wish they had them in my size.
  11. Little Reader Book Set – I love this set, they are great for early literacy and emerging readers.
  12. Joules Hedgehog Dress – I mean, come on…ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This dress is so playful and charming. Joules has a bunch of these Rosalee dresses and they are all to die for.
  13. Hair Clip Set – Another example of why H&M has the best little kid accessories. The glitter accents give the set a little extra oomph.
  14. Joinks – You can’t go wrong with a building set of any kind for your kiddos. See my previous blog post on magnetic tiles, another great gift idea. These keep little hands and little brains busy, big fan.
