One of my all-time favorite brands, for adults and kids alike, is Joules. Think Boden- very similar vibe, price point, and quality.
Joules often comes up on Zulily and it’s always heavily discounted and this week I have an additional 10% off for you. Just follow my links and the discount will be automatically applied in basket!
Here are my favorite pieces in each category- Enjoy and happy shopping!
Yesterday I shared my Kohl’s fall favorites and my Pinterest Fall Fashion board. I really have a vision of what’s on trend this fall and how it can work with my more classic style.
Today I’m back with some Zulily finds that fit that profile.
Yesterday I mentioned that I have a khaki blazer, black blazer, and plaid blazer on my list for fall must haves. I found affordable options for all three.
Khaki Blazer $24.99
Plaid Madewell Blazer – $89, oversized so size down if you don’t like the oversized/bulky look
Black Blazer $24.99
Camel Trench– This Calvin Klein camel trench is SO INCREDIBLY CHIC and it’s $300 off!
Shawl Collar Coat – I bought this bone shawl-collared trench last year and it’s the best fall staple I’ve ever purchased. Dress up with trousers and boots or wear over a hoodie (pull the hood out over the coat) with sneakers for a more casual look. $119
Wide leg trousers, straight leg cropped jeans, and flare jeans are all on trend for fall 2022. Here are some great options I found.
Wide Leg Khaki Trousers – $22.99
Black Flare Jeans – $33.99
Straight Leg Cropped Jeans – $89.99
Sweater Vest– layer over a white button down with trousers or jeans. $22.99
Ribbed Square Neck Top– Ribbed knits with sweetheart/square necks are all over the place right now. Love this option for $35.
Half Zip Sweater– $33
Striped Pullover– This looks just like the sold out Madewell version/ Mango version but for a fraction of the price at $30!
Black Sneakers – Love me a good chunky sneaker with trousers/midi skirts, and jeans. This Vionic pair is SO GOOD. $109
White sneaker– Even better than a good chunky black sneaker? A good chunky white sneaker. These K Swiss sneaks are chef’s kiss. $30
Black ankle boot: As I mentioned yesterday, lug sole/chunky Chelsea boots are a hard no for me with my size 10 foot. It’s giving…clown shoes. But I really love this sleek, fashionable pair. Not too chunky, not too oversized. $90
Loafers: Obsessed with these suede loafers with a chain accent. And the price is so good. $35
Gold necklace– I have this chain and I’m wearing it with almost everything this fall- it adds the perfect pop and can dress up everything a little bit. $17-$19
Black Belt– Yes, this Coach belt is a bit on the spendy side at $94, but it won’t go out of style. Love the hardware and the embossed crocodile accents.
Are you enjoying this series? Please let me know below!
I’ve been disregarding Kohl’s clothes for quite a while now. I’ve dropped in once every couple of months for the past couple of years…and never find anything I like.
It’s either too matronly or too fast fashion/Gen Z/Juniors focused.
But lately, they’ve been killing it.
I visited last week and walked away with 6 fall pieces. And then of course there’s a 20% off sale this weekend. SERIOUSLY?? Ha!
Everything on the Kohl’s website is 20% off with SAVEBIG20
I’ve been really working on building an intentional, on trend but CLASSIC fall wardrobe. You can find my Fall Wardrobe Inspiration Pinterest Board HERE.
These pieces fit the aesthetic perfectly and are at a great price point. I thought some of you might enjoy my curated picks as well.
Let me know what you think in the comments!!
Left to right, Top to Bottom (ish):
Wide Leg Trousers – These are so on trend for Fall 2022. Wear them over a bodysuit, with a crisp button down, or with a ribbed tank.
Bustier Bodysuit – This is a perfect layering bodysuit and also pulls in corsets/bustiers which are also a big fall trend. Wear this with the trousers or with denim- add a blazer on top for a chic look.
Blazer – I have a beige blazer, a black blazer, and a plaid blazer on my list for fall. This one is a great plaid option.
Satin Camisole Dress – This is one of the pieces I snagged last week at Kohl’s. It’s so incredibly flattering on, the color is on trend and the bow accents are..chef’s kiss.
White Button Down- everyone needs a great white button down in their wardrobe for every season. It’s chic, timeless, and can be layered in a zillion ways.
Juniors Basic Bodysuit– I grabbed this in three colors last week and have a fourth in my cart. Incredibly stretchy and flattering- this is a wonderful foundation piece. Tip- it’s a thong bodysuit, I just wear over regular underwear.
Quilted Crossbody Purse– I can’t get over this purse. A great high-end dupe.
Cardigan– Cardigans are still (and always will be) on trend. This year, update the long/waterfall cardigan look by grabbing a chunky button cardigan.
Striped Pullover– This is THE fall staple this year. This option is super budget friendly and chic.
Maxi dress- (out of black but available in 3 other colors) Maxi skirts and dresses will be big this season. Lots of recs for body hugging knit maxis, but that’s not a great choice for me. I chose to interpret this trend by picking this gorgeous floral maxi in perfect fall colors. How lovely would this be with ankle boots or ballet flats? Love it.
Tote Bag – Thank goodness fall bags are big this year. I was NOT a fan of the micro/mini bag- just not practical at all. This Nine West tote is super cute and won’t break the bank.
Leather trousers- (faux) leather trousers are on lots of trend lists this year. IMO they can look cheap and plasticky and verge into that fast-fashion vibe, but these are solid. They have more of a trouser look and I really like that.
Western Boot- An easy way to update your fall boot look is by grabbing some western type boots. I have ankle western boots from 2 years ago at Walmart that I plan on using, but these are such a cute option. Chunky/Chelsea boots are also on trend, but that’s a nope with my giant Size 10 feet.
Quarter Zip Pullover– These are EVERYWHERE this year. You’ll see them at Karen Millen, Mango, JCrew, Madewell…but this Kohl’s version looks the same and is under $30.
New Balance Sneakers– I LOVE MY NEW BALANCE SNEAKS. A pair of black and white elevated sneakers will make any outfit better. Wear them with jeans, leggings, trousers, or even dresses. These are basically the same pairs I bought 2 falls ago and still wear weekly. I get so many compliments, too.
Layered Gold Necklaces– this season is all about delicate layered gold jewelry and this set is an A+ option for under $20.
Jeans- Do what you love when it comes to denim. I, for one, am happy to see other silhouttes besides skinny jeans finally available. Right now I am into high-waisted, cropped straight leg jeans and this pair from Lauren Conrad is available in 4 washes, under $30.
Ribbed Tank- The “off duty model” look is in, and nothing fits the bill better than a simple, high-neck ribbed white tank with denim.
Chain Mules- Loafers are on trend and so are mules with chain accents. I don’t like the chunky loafer/mule trend (see above with boots) but I do love the classic look of a bit loafer or mule with hardware. Love this pair.
Junior’s Bustier Bodysuit– another great foundation piece. I have this one in black. I wore it under a blazer, with a pair of flare jeans and western boots last week. I felt so good in it!
Please leave a comment below and let me know if you found this helpful! I’m so excited to dust off the old blog and revisit things I’m passionate about.
Wine loving friends- I know y’all have heard me talk about Firstleaf Wine Club before.
It’s not a MLM- it’s not off-brand labels…it’s legitimately GOOD wine/labels catered to your tastes.
I lived in Italy for 3 years,y’all know I’m a major wine snob. We love Firstleaf.
I’ve shared a few of the deals in the past year- I just found out that they will no longer be doing the 6 bottles for $29.95 deal. It’s changing to $34.95 in the future- April is the last time for the cheaper price.
I thought some of you might want to snag the deal before it’s gone- they sent me a link to get you the $29.95 price! Cin Cin!
