today i received a few more photos and thought i’d share.
thanks so much sandy! sandy is j’s precious step-mom.
she’s the teensy thing in the photos below.
check out this bad boy.
i mean, really…WHERE are we supposed to put him?
sandy and jimmy’s dad, dennis, me and jimmy, and chris (his brother) and anna:
anna and i are squatting in order to be sandy’s height. HEE! good thing you cannot see me from the waist down in this photo. awkward.
j on the way to the bus,
i call this his “pillsbury dough boy” hat.
j and general casey.
i mean, he is positively beaming.
he is going to KILL me for posting this here, but general casey knows who he is,
he said he had read about him in the wall street journal that morning.
when j told me i said WHAT???? DID YOU PEE IN YOUR PANTS OR WHAT???
and mr. even-keeled gave me a “you know better than that” look,
but i know him and i saw the smile at the corners of his mouth when i asked him that.
see?? peeing in his pants, i tell you.
okay. enough of the DC trip.
i promise this is the last post about it. teehee.
okay, that’s a lie. i still have to post about Arlington Nat’l Cemetery.
On a scrap-related note,
those of you who guessed JBS in my previous post were correct.
I am indeed the May guest designer, and I’m thrilled.
I think you all know that I have a MAJOR scrap crush on jenni.
The gallery goes live at midnight tonight.
Here’s a preview:
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the encouraging words yesterday.
I’m feeling better today, but my head still hurts.
I truly think it was just stress, worry, and sadness,
but today was a better day,
and tomorrow will be a better day than today.
love y’all.
xo
