Happy Monday y’all!
How was your weekend? Mine was um…interesting? We’ve got a sick J in the house and most of the weekend was spent laying low while he tried to feel better. And he still feels yucky today, poor thing.
I know that people talk about hating Mondays and I totally get it…but I love Mondays. Don’t kill me. I can’t help it. I love the weekends and I love being all together. But Mondays bring routine and I love a good routine. I thrive on a good routine.
So now that I’ve revealed myself to be a COMPLETE loser I’ll move on.
1. I finally got started on my Paris mini. I’m using a WeRMemoryKeepers 4×4 Instagram Album and lots of MME Market Street. I knew there was a good reason I was hoarding this collection. It’s absolutely perfect for Paris.
Lately I’m just not really feeling layouts. But I’m really wanting to make more minis. Not sure what’s happening but I think that’s the direction my creativity wants to take. Which is good b/c I have TON of trips to scrap!
2. Finding myself serously sucked into this book. I can’t put it down! I love a good family saga.
3. I loved this post by Cathy’s daughter Aidan. I love everything about it. What an awesome girl and what a testament to her awesome parents.
4. Who says Pinterest is a waste of time? Not ME! I pinned this photo at least a year ago and had it in the back of my mind when I went shopping last week. Love that I was able to use the inspiration after all this time to create the outfit above!
5. I want to cry every time I think of Parenthood being over. I know all good things must come to an end (ahem-Breaking Bad) but I will really mourn this show.

I also love Mondays and routine! Picking up Roses today at the Library. I read “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morgan last week. It was one of the books someone recommended to you. Excellent read! Your “mini” is great – still love layouts myself – for now! Have a blessed Monday and hope your hubby gets better!

I keep having a feeling someone on the show is going to die, which will then bring the family closer. I agree about being so sad it’s ending. It’s one of my favorite shows b/c they deal with real issues that real people deal with.
I hope that J feels better soon! Hard to see a big strong man down. Gorgeous necklace with that plaid shirt!!! I love that look!
I find myself making trip minis too. I think it’s too overwhelming to consider layouts when you take so many photos in 1 place. Minis are much less work, let you get more photos out, and I think you even feel more creative for getting it done! I know I question photo placement much less!
Love that necklace! I’m already sad about Parenthood, too. It’s the only show I watch. I will be lost without it!!
I quite like Mondays too, I like to remove the mud from the house and restore order. Of course, it only lasts until 3.40pm. I hope J is better soon. Loved Aidan’s post too, how lovely to hear things from her perspective. CJ xx

Stephanie, I LOVE Mondays! It is the start of a new week and all the fresh opportunities that come with it. We can be in a the Monday Lover Loser Club together.
Count me in as another Monday Lover. After hectic weekends with everyone home, I like reclaiming my space a bit and settling in to the weekday routine. (I work from home, so this is an important part of the transition for me.) I never even contemplated the producers of Parenthood killing off Crosby. I hope that doesn’t happen. And, I do hope Julia and Joel get back together. If I have one criticism of the show over the years it’s that they really rushed into J&J separating. One day they were fine and in just one month of sweeps episodes, they weren’t. I do love how all the kids-in-law really love Zeke and Camille. It’s so heartwarming to see! Can’t believe the number of episodes left is in the single digits. 🙁
