i wanted to quickly share my valentine's mantel!!
a valentine's garland
glittered heart (from joAnn), a target dollar soit vase holding a dried peony
a metal doily plate and a little heart tree, heart photo holders (sans photos right now), the glittered/feathered arrangements on each end (still up from christmas- i might keep them there all year), and of course my H,6,and clock collection that is always there.
nothing fancy, keeping it simple. π
i won't be posting lovely things on the weekends, but i might have scrappy sundays sprinkled here and there.
hope you have a beautiful and blessed weekend!

Of course! Sorry, we don’t do mantel decorating in England and I wasn’t quite getting the relevance. Makes so much more sense now, duh!! xx
Beautiful mantel! I always look forward to seeing your decorated mantels π
Not decorating that much for V-day this year but will put up a heart door hanger for our front door.
Looks LOVEly!
I so need mantel help. Mine is currently still decorated from birthday parties from the last two weekends, but is usually just a bunch of pictures. Somehow need to learn how to gather/arrange tidbits a bit better…hmmmm
Lovely! Perhaps I should get my tail in gear and bring out the love as well. π Have a terrific weekend!
so pretty!
I always look forward to seeing you mantles! Great inspiration for mine at home! π I love that plate! It looks like a giant doily!
it looks lovely steph. hoping to pull out some v-day decor soon…trying to figure out how much is too much with the house on the market!
This is simple and pretty, love it. I love seeing when families have their initials and numbers displayed around the home. I’ve been hanging book paper garland today and it’s making my HEART happy just seeing them.
Have a lovely weekend.
I will finally have a mantal in my NEW house in a couple weeks! I can’t wait to decorate it for holidays etc.
Love your garlands and decorations
I always love seeing mantel decor. SOoooo wish we had a fireplace/mantle!
have you made one of these Valentine jars for Jimmy? I always thought that Valentine was all about the one and only…
Nope. I do other things for him. I thought valentines was a time to show love to anyone your heart loves. At least thats how its interpreted in our home. π my love letters, etc to him are more private and I most likely wouldnt share them here. π

stephanie it is beautiful, i really wish we had a mantle or something i could use to decorate for every holiday, I think it is very special. And i agree i think its about showing everyone you love them too π
Your mantel displays are always so gorgeous! I wish I had a mantel that I could decorate. Right now I’m making do with two floating shelves in our “great room”. And by the way, it is largely because of your “H” collection that I have started an “S” collection for my home! My husband got me my first “S” for Christmas this year π
Your mantle looks lovely! How do you dry Peonies? They are my absolute fav flower but oh so hard to find so I would love to do that. It’s funny because most people go HUH? when I tell them my favorite flower…
GORGEOUS!
I love your mantle display; I’ve never seen this done before except on your blogs, though everyone I know has a mantle-piece. It’s such a lovely idea. Also, in the uk, people only send Valentines to their spouses, lovers or those whom they wish to attract.
Enjoy the day when it arrives.
Off subject. . .I just want to say that I love that a big percentage of pictures of H & S have them holding hands. I’m sure they have their “sister moments” but you can tell that they really love each other by these pics. Random, I know.
Love it! ESP the garland and all of your H’s. I like how you incorporate the H’s with most of your mantles.I love decorating mine as well(I am a bunting flag addict) mantles are so much fun and such a cute way to add some holiday sparkle to a room! Thanks for sharing π
I love your mantle display…you are so talented!
Lovely as always, have a great weekend.
how lovely! love all the “h”‘s…
Beautiful! I too wish I had a mantel.
It’s beautiful and inspirational as always. Thank you for sharing.
