*love*ly things-fancy pants love story (and a giveaway!!!)

my favorite valentine's collection this year came from fancy pants.

it's called love story and i fell in love with the color combinations and patterns.

i love the scale of the designs and those patterns are so so pretty.i also love that there are pops of blue in the designs.

i knew right away i had to have this collection. when jodi contacted me and asked if i wanted to play with these papers i didn't have to think at all. i said YES!

i don't know why anyone says i'm a girlie scrapper. hmmmm. 🙂 🙂

the "string" for the garland is the edge that i cut off of a heart doily. the fans are dyed doilies (courtesy of my sweet friend jamie long) that are folded into fans. i also used more of the sweet crochet hearts from debbie back.

and i HAD to use one of the amy tangerine for 2peas tags that i've been hoarding. i figured they weren't doing me any good sitting on my scrap table!

she also sent me a brag book. i've been hearing about these for a long time from my friend davinie and they are just as awesome as she says. like a chic smash book.

i like smash books, but i'm not a funky,edgy scrapper. a book like this brag book appeals a bit more to my sensibilites.

i've made it into a "love lists" book. it will one day (hopefully!) be full of restaurants we've loved,books i love, dreams i have,etc.

  109. I saw these brag books in Archivers and I was really impressed with them…don’t you think they make great recipe books as well? They also remind me of Project Life with the photo protector pages and then the black pages are great for embelishing/art journaling for sure. Love the papers as well but really love the books.   248. Considering the papers and book came to you free and you’re not having a giveaway out of your own stash perhaps you could consider splashing out on the postage next time? The most it would cost you to Africa for example, would be $12.45 for a thin pizza box for the papers and even less for the book. Not a lot when you consider the loyalty and consistency of a lot of your followers. I am always recommending and linking to you 🙂
