I want to start out by saying that I hope you are all having a wonderful long weekend.
I hope that your weekend has been filled with lots of laughter, love and togetherness.
Ours definitely has…I thought I’d share several photos from our past few days.
On Thursday, Harper told me she wanted to go on a date with Daddy.
Her last date with daddy did NOT go so well.
He took her to see Kung Fu Panda and let’s just say they were home 10 minutes later
and she was yelling “no no” “no panda” “go home” ready go” “loud panda!”.
So I was thrilled she wanted to go on another daddy date.
We decided he would take her to lunch,
and Harper ran in her room to get ready.
She said she wanted to look like a “pwincess”
so we dressed her in her tulle skirt and pearls, and I put her hair up in
two braids with pink bows:
When I saw Jimmy’s face when she walked in the room,
I almost cried. Ack…I can’t even talk about it.
But she looked beautiful and was over the top excited
for their date:
Please look at her hand on his leg, that just KILLS me.
Okay, moving on.
On Friday we went to a parade in our neighborhood.
It was so much fun but hot as blazes.
You can tell by the thrilled look on J’s face. Hehehe.
I have to say that this Fourth of July was reflective and VERY bittersweet.
And then yesterday, Harper and I got up early and hit up our favorite flea market
and antiquing shops.
The pickings were pretty slim but I love love love the scale.
And how cute is this little old fashioned lap desk for H?
And the sweet lady, Esme, who runs one of my favorite shops,
told me she thought of me when she bought these:
So I’m sorry the longest post ever. I just wanted to catch you guys up
on all of the fun we’ve been having around here!
Have a beautiful, blessed Sunday, my sweet friends.
I’m leaving you with a Prima page about miss H.
xoxo
