yes, scrappy sunday is back! not by popular demand, but because i felt like it today. 🙂
thanks for all of your sweet words about cate and lucy…some of you asked why “bennett” and if it was a family name.
bennett is my mother’s maiden name. my grandfather was harrison bennett. if we ever had a boy, he would have been harrison bennett howell. but alas, it was not to be. HEE!
my grandfather passed away when i was in college and i loved him dearly. i wanted to honor him regardless, so we used bennett as a middle name.
kind of funny how it worked out…catherine bennet (one t in her case) is the mother from pride and prejudice- a story full of girls. 😉
also, many of you wondered which baby will be which? well we have no idea. catherine bennett was a name we were going to use if the baby was a girl (back when we thought it was just ONE baby). so maybe cate will be the first? we will see, we have some time to think about it!
okay. onto the “scrappy” part of sunday:
patterned paper- studio calico, karen russell narratives (scallop), k and co amy butler (blue)
fabrips, stickers, rubons- studio calico
buttons- JBS
twine- studio calico
punch- bubbles by EK success
pen- american crafts
title: right now i miss
journaling reads: falling asleep with you by my side. i’m never scared at night when you are here. watching entourage with you. it’s not as funny when i watch it alone. holding your hand, parental back up, your sarcastic comments, the way only *you* can make me laugh, your culinary skills. YOU. i miss my best friend.
hope you have a beautiful sunday…we cut a link off of the deployment paper chain today and that started the day off right!!
xoxo
