because i can’t ever say it enough times

i can’t tell him often enough

or with enough pride in my voice

the truth is that words just aren’t enough.

they can’t adequately express the emotion…but once again i’ll try.

i am so proud of my ranger.

the kind of “proud” that gives you a lump in your throat and tears in your eyes.

we are spending a very special weekend together…and today we kick it off with our very first savannah st. patrick’s day.

this is pretty much an everyday event around here. or something similar to this.

first-please note the line of random items. sadie made this line and it stretched around the entire house. oh yes it did.

lucy: oh look! a magnifying glass! surely my sister won’t notice if i take just one toy out of this line!

sadie: yes, i did notice.and i’ll take that back,thank you very much.

lucy: WHAT? did you see that? ohhhh the humanity. look at my little hands. they are so empty now.

my heeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaart is broken. BROKEN. sob.

sidenote: is it just me, or does lucy totally look like she sports a baby toupee? she’s a baby bieber.

sadie:sheeesh. okay. okay. have it back. you’re breaking *my* heart. i’m sorry lucy!

lucy: ummmm…did that really just happen? and the waterworks are OFF.

heck yes. i’ve got this all figured out. the crocodile tears are KEY!

and thus concludes a normal,everyday moment in the howell household. of course the person crying is interchangeable.

but the scenario is basically the same.

that we are feeling better today?

a little weak…but much much better.

it was a swift and merciless bug. started wednesday night in cate and ended yesterday with me. UGH. but we survived. 🙂

today we are hoping to visit bonaventure cemetery and wormsloe plantation. i hope that all of you out there are safe…there has been some terrifying weather out there. 🙁

it's common knowledge that i'm no wallflower.

i'm not what you might call delicate. or graceful…or quiet. nope, i've never been called any of those things.

we had to do a psych/personality survey for the marriage retreat and we got the results back this week.

the test confirmed what i've suspected all along.

here's what the results told me:

i am highly extraverted.

i am enthusiastic and playful.

i am socially bold,forthright,and genuine.

i worry. i am sensitive to criticism.

i prefer a lively/social enviroment.

i am a sensitive person who appreciates art and beauty.

accomodating, responsible,worrisome.

 

but my favorite part?

the part that made me laugh so hard i got tears in my eyes??

stephanie's style tends to be exuberant,uninhibited,and spontaneous. sometimes stephanie is so lively and spontaneous that she might find it hard to "tone it down".

 

hahaha. um yeah.

all you have to do is see j's "mortified face" once to realize that sometimes i have a hard time "toning it down".

FACT.

what? God made me that way. i can't help it.smirk.
