Buon Carnevale di Venezia!
Today we spent the day in Venice celebrating Carnevale and it was amazing.
I hope you all had a beautiful weekend- I’ll share more photos domani!

Fair enough.
Here’s what I’m asking for.
+ I’d like to laugh until I cry once a week.
+ I’d like to read a new book every three days. One day I’d like to write a book too.
+ Id’ like to take a shower and pee in peace, for the love of God.
+ I want to go on dates with Jimmy until we are old and gray. I want to hold his hand, laugh at him until I lose my voice, and kiss him until I’m dizzy. Basically I want to always stay the same as we are.
+ I want to visit Provence, France when the lavender is blooming.
+ I want to geniunely learn to love, embrace, and accept my body just the way it is.
+ I want to be a librarian or own a book shop. There is nothing in this world that I’m as passionate about as I am about books and reading. Period.
+ I want to learn to make pasta from scratch.
+ I’d like to stop comparing myself to others. My worth is not determined by how perfect other people’s lives appear.
+ I’d like to learn Italian.
+ I want the superpower of being able to tell who my true friends are. The ones who have my back and don’t have any patience for people who don’t. The ones who make me laugh and call me out and “get” me. No more fakes. Only trues. I’m getting better at this the older I get by the way.
+ I want to learn calligraphy.
+ I’d like to host a creative get together when I move back to America. A weekend of making and bonding and laughing and drinking wine.

1. I will have fun. If it’s not fun, I won’t do it. If it stops being fun, I give myself permission to quit and revisit later. If it’s still not fun, I will move on.
2. I will spend less time worrying about what everyone else is doing and figure out what works for me. As Amy Poehler says… good for them, not for me. If I start worrying too much about what everyone else does and thinks…see #1.
3. Instagram is a form of memory keeping. Blogging is a form of memory keeping. Artifact Uprising books are a form of memory keeping.
4. I will not just go in my craft room and clean. I will make messes. Sometimes I won’t clean the messes up.
5. I will finish a ridiculous amount of WeRMemoryKeepers Instagram albums.
6. I will blog daily. Or at least I will think about blogging daily.
7. I won’t feel guilt if I don’t blog daily.
8. I will make more tags.
9. I will comment on blogs and Instagram accounts that inspire me.
10. I will make one layout a month.
11. I will start Project Italy again.
12. I will take my DSLR on my Italian adventures. I used it for the Bolzano Christmas market photos and I love how they turned out. Every few months will take photographs of my children using the DSLR.
13. I will let my girls contribute to my projects.
14. I won’t try to catch up.
15. I reserve the right to do all of these things, some of these things, or absolutely none of these things, depending on the day or on my mood.

Merry Christmas! Thank you so much for the gift of your encouragement, love, and kindess over the past year. I am so grateful for all of you.
I mean it. I read each and every comment and they all mean the world to me. I wouldn’t have my sanity if it weren’t for this blog and the wonderful community that surrounds it.
Love to you all!
