i’m up on the mme blog today with a new layout. for a supply list and a photo of the amazing emily spahn layout i lifted to make this layout, head on over. π
h and s have started playing together SO much more, i wanted to make a page about it. this photo is from a birthday party they were at this weekend, they are watching/cheering for some kids that were running in a race.
i have to tell you again (and again, and again, and again) how much i love mme enamel dots and sequins. i am NOT a mist kind of gal. never have been, most likely never will be. i kept trying (because everyone else seems to love mist) but i never enjoyed using it.
that’s why enamel dots are the perfect thing for me. they kind of look like splatters. but they aren’t messy and it isn’t hard to use them. i love sequins for the same reason.
thank you so much for stopping by today. i want to take a second to tell all of you thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comments on my last post. i adore you all. π
happy monday,y’all!
xoxo

love your page steph! and i understand you with the mist…i can’t make splatters look good to save my life…so i mainly use mine for coloring things. π

this page is just gorgeous, my fave part is the photo, love those candid ones when they are not posing and you are just capturing life, a moment in time, so perfect π

Lovely! Thanks for sharing!

thanks for your thoughts on sequins. I have been trying to use them as buttons but I might have more luck if I thought of them as ink/paint splatters. I love to use ink/paint and a few sparkly sequins would look great in the mix. Thanks for the inspiration and lovely page!

Love it! Definitely going to try out the enamel dots and use them as ink splatters. I love the look of ink but have a hard time doing it myself as well. Thanks for sharing a beautiful layout and story!

i hear you on the mist – I recently went through all my scrapbooking stuff and gave away the things I acknowledge I will never use and the mists were in that pile! I really appreciate your honesty about what you use – it gives me courage to say something isn’t for me and to stop buying new products in the hope this one will be the one. I prefer to buy more doiles, baker’s string and stick-on pearls!!!
