So hopefully y’all know why I decorate my planner by now. If you don’t, you can read HERE or HERE.
If you follow me on my planner Instagram (@plannerhappiness) you know this, but I don’t decorate every week. Most weeks are just plain handwriting, post-its and scribbles. But some weeks are fancy. And that brings me joy.
Here is last week’s spread.
Supplies:
The Planner Society kits (stickers, cards, tassel, floral washi, pen)
Maggie Holmes Chipboard Stickers
my beloved doilies (of course)
Love adding bits and pieces much like I used to on my scrapbook pages!
flowers and doilies and washi. my fave.
That’s about it! I hope you like this peek into my creative week.
Also- I’ve decided to do PL again this year. Gulp. I am SO out of the scrapbooking loop BUT I think I’m going to go with the 6×8 format. Any advice?
Love you all!
xoxo

So, I’ve been doing a 6*8 album for a few years now. I am actually going to start doing a bigger album this year because sometimes using the app to make pictures 3*4 is just more tedium than I want to deal with. I want to just be able to print a 4*6 picture. I think my album this year will be more photo album and less scrapbooky, but still have that ability. I use piccollage to make 2 3*4 pictures on a 4*6 pic, then print using Walgreen’s apps. I can always find 30-40% off pictures at Walgreen’s. Last year my own album took a back seat while I made Emmelyn’s baby book/scrapbook/photo album, but this next year I want to make more of a family album again.

Love your planner pages. I am new to planners but loving it after two weeks I do digital PL as I find it easier than spreading out product. The app is good too.

This looks beautiful Stephanie! Thank you for sharing. I love that it’s so “pretty” but yet organized. I have no advice on 6×8. I have a hard time with the smaller 3×4 photos but I do love the size. I’ve started 6×8 for a December Daily and haven’t done much besides printing out photos but I think it will be fun and more manageable than the big 12×12. I look forward to seeing yours!!

PL advice: Keep filling the pockets… 🙂
I sit down each weekend and just glance at the week ahead to see what the highlights will be, that way I make sure to include a space for those things. And then I have a notebook where I draw out my boxes and pencil things in as the week goes. Even if I get a week behind, I know exactly what to do/print/include when I go back.

You won’t have enough room! My life is one sliver as full as yours and i struggled and then gave up on the 6×8 last year! Im trying 9×12 this year but knowing you i say you won’t regret 12×12 just a friendly opinion….not bossy!
