2 high chairs

2 one year olds

they are so funny. so different…and i LOVE that.

pretty sure that cate thinks lucy is nuts. 🙂

    The girls are precious and I love how different they are. Even though my boys are 5 1/2 years apart I’m still blown away how children from the same parents, raised in the same house and uniquely themselves. I can’t imagine how fun that is to see with the babies 🙂

  5. ADoRaBLe!!! My 9yr. old and I were cracking up watching this! Seriously, I can’t believe it’s been a year…I remember just reading when you had them…lol It’s a much different perspective from the outside — time really flies! 😀 Happy birthday, Lucy and Cate!!

  8. Great for blackmail someday. So funny. My son’s first birthday was quite similar and I remember it well, 16 years ago. He was not very happy and the chocolate cake was everywhere. It all happens too fast.

  20. That is so fun to see two such different reactions to cupcakes. It always makes me laugh that we keep babies away from sugar for their whole first year and then the second they turn 1 we give them a whole cake to themselves, heehee.

  51. They are just so precious Stephanie! It is so hard to believe they are 1! Why, just yesterday they were born…! It has been so fun watching them grow this year as you have shared with us…thank you so much for that! I remember one of your blog posts where you were wondering how you were going to handle all these girls and having enough of you to go around and loving them all so much….well, I am sure you have done an amazing job…you are an incredible person! I realize each day isn’t perfect…in fact none of them are…but you have handled the task with grace and finesse and honesty about the everyday stuff…it’s why we keep coming back…because you are so real and share the everyday craziness that we all know is part of our days as well!
