how is it already time for reveal again? wow…time is flying!
county fair went up for sale yesterday.
this month i got
i had limited time this month (don't we all?) but managed to come up with five layouts. here they are!
all i want for christmas
this is my main kit only layout
i made this giant bow using this tutorial i found on pinterest.
it took a lot of patience, practice, and a LOT of hot glue (haha) but i'm really happy with the way it turned out.
it is a VERY dimensional layout so will be used as a display piece, rather than put away in an album.
sometimes i have a hard time using washi tape in a way that is me. although i LOVE it, i hoard it and never use it. using it as the "ribbon" behind the bow worked here.
savannah winters
this one makes me laugh. this past summer, when i was waiting outside of a class at the YMCA, i heard a group of ladies talking about how "brutal" savannah winters were. and yes, they were dead serious.
i had to walk away so i wouldn't snicker.
when i saw this photo of jimmy and cate that i took on dec. 24, the first words that came to mind are "man, savannah winters are brutal".
hence, the birth of this layout. HEEE!
yep
this one makes me laugh. these photos i snapped of the girls are SO them. they inspired me to make a layout about what our christmas card might have looked like, if we would have had one!
in a million little ways
excuse me b/c now i'm going to share a lovey dovey layout. snicker. no but seriously…i'm always telling j how good he is to me. and that he may not do grand over the top romantic gestures (b/c that's not "him")…but that his love is in the details.
he shows me in so many ways. the little hearts made me think of that…and i went with it. 🙂
i used almost an entire sheet of the heart stickers. i cut off a tiny strip and used them to dot the i's.
sleep in heavenly peace
gosh, i love this one. a few notes: the font is "rough typewriter". the heart punch is a random tiny heart punch i got at joann. and i think the scalloped square punch is one of those big purple marvy ones.
i guess this is prettys self-explanatory (but aren't all of my layouts?) the colors were just too harsh (not to mention the reds didn't match) so i misted it with white mister hueys.
the baker's twine is from my own stash.
thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, y'all. hope your day is beautiful and blessed.
xoxo

Love all of these! Especially “Savannah Winters”. I am a Cali girl, so winters can be stormy and rainy, but never “harsh” 🙂

I am smiling because your comments about washi tape are the same as mine, and i saw all your washi tape ready to go in your PL. (we need a little touch of Kelly purky or Amy)
Seriously love all of your layouts although my favourite would have to be the girls on the front porch.
