we’ve had a tough couple of weeks. today will be our THIRD visit to the pediatrician and/or urgent care…ear infections and pink eye have been running rampant in our house. 🙁

everyone is a bit grumpy and loopy at the same time.

but i knew JUST what was needed to cheer everyone up. beauty salon night!! (what else to do in a house full of girls??)

i can’t even tell you how hard these girls make me laugh.

and i didn’t think it was possible after them driving me NUTS for 3 days. teehee!

see? told you today was random. i might have cabin fever. just a liiiiitttle bit.

    I hate thinking of you having to take care of 4 sick girls. ugh! hope you get some scrappy time in while they rest and get better….although I doubt that, since they probably want to be held and are more needy than usual, but I can hope, for your sake right?!

  12. Can’t decide if I laughed harder at the first picture of Jimmy or the last picture of Sadie!
    Even when the pink eye is rampant and you’ve been cooped up, you have so much to make you smile.

  13. I may or may not have snorted at the picture of Sadie where it looks like she just smelled a very terrible something. Stink. Stank. STUNK!
    Also, Jimmy serving the turkey is all sorts of funny.
    And is Harper holding a stuffed palm tree? You own a stuffed palm tree??

  15. LOVE LOVE LOVE the photos!!! You always have such great and fun ones of your girls. Makes me miss my girls being little!! I have cabin fever too. But, I think it is for different reasons. Cold and snow, threat of freezing rain.. I am living in the wrong state. The older I get, the more I hate winter in the upper midwest! LOL

  16. This isn’t meant to be snarky…but you need to have Sadie make that kissy look more often for photos…her frowning reminds me of my niece and now (she is 21) wonders why she was so mean…lol.
    That photo of Sadie makes my heart melt, look at those beautiful eyes we never see….

  17. These photos are priceless! Your girls are so beautiful – makes me wish mine were little again! Talk about grumpy and pouty – await til they are 14 and 17! Of course I only have 2 girls (and 1 boy who turned 20 today) but they can be grumpy enough for 4 🙂

  20. Ive been reading your blog for awhile now and I just want to say that you are a rock star. I know you doubt your mothering abilities at times but as a first time mom of a 6 day old baby, I am kind of in awe of you and the fact you did this with twins, and harper and sadie at times on your own without your husband and you blog and craft. I know I’m new to motherhood and it will get better (please tell me it gets better) but I just wanted to a say you are awesome.
