I’m LOVING all of these fun tours going on lately. It gives my mojo a little kick in the pants and that’s always a good thing. 🙂
My sweet friend Mara tagged me in today’s interview. She has the cutest dang baby ever. Seriously. Go look NOW.
Q:WHAT AM I WORKING ON?
A: Now that I’m done with the Paris album, I’m moving on to the Barcelona album. I’m addicted! I’d love to do Instagram albums for all our trips!
Q:HOW DOES MY BLOG DIFFER FROM OTHERS OF ITS GENRE?
A: Um, I talk about personal stuff and scrappy stuff. Not many people do that anymore. And sometimes I regret the decision. I mean…if I seem happy it’s “all sunshine and rainbows” and if I try to get real “I’m complaining”. But honestly…after 8 years of blogging I am who I am and it is what it is. I love being “me” in this space. And if people don’t “get” me it’s totally fine. I can’t change opinions and I’m so glad I stopped trying! I like sharing a little bit of everything here.
WHY DO I WRITE/CREATE WHAT I DO?
I’ve said it many times and I mean it with all of my heart…my blog is my therapy and has been my saving grace many times. There have been so many instances where J was gone and I just felt alone and overwhelmed. I have connected with so many amazing friends here.
Why do I make things? Because I love it. Truly. Again…I’ve said this before but it should be FUN. If it’s not, something’s wrong. It brings me joy.
HOW DOES YOUR WRITING/CREATING PROCESS WORK?
It’s very stream-of-consciousness and fly by the seat of my pants. I just write/make what’s in my head, without pre-planning or editing. Seriously. I have never planned my journaling first. Blogging- I just write whatever is on my heart. But that’s just kind of how I am as a person. I’m a “blurter”.
Thanks for stopping by today y’all! I hope your day is beautiful.
xoxo

I love your blog! It’s fun to hear what’s going on in your life, especially the day to day stuff. Your blog is the only one I read regularly. Many of other my favorite bloggers quit, or blog maybe once every couple of months. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s great! And it’s fun hearing about what it’s like living in all the places you have been!

I love your blog!I love reading every story(even the heartbreakers – sometimes all I want to do is give you a big hug.)The best stories are the ones about your everyday & all the girls’ antics! I started following your blog for the scrap inspiration but I keep coming back for the stories. I guess I just get you sweet friend.

I don’t know if I have been following you for eight years but close to it. And the reason I keep coming back day after day and week after week is that you keep it SO REAL — from your scrappy creations to your blog posts! Thanks!
