they are this excited every single time they see her.
actually? last time they knocked her over. π
is there anything better than a grandmother’s love?
yes. yes there is. there is the fact that for an entire week they will be saying “BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB”
instead of “mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy”. they ignore me when she is here. and i LOVE that. i get a break and she gets love.
win/win. π
happy thursday,y’all!
xoxo
woo hoo!
more scrapbook time maybe~!
that’s soooooo fun!!!
tara
i love that you captured this shot. what a treasure.
my kids are the same way with my mom…and they usually end up calling me Mimi for a day or two after she leaves π i love how they love her. and how she loves them.
hope y’all have a special time together!

You can see the joy in your photo. Looks like BB is just as happy to see the girls as they are her. Such a special bond. I hope they enjoy their time with BB and that you get a little momma break. You all deserve it.
What a wonderful photo! My kids used to be the same way when my mom came or we went to visit her. Now luckily we all live in the same town again.
Love that – enjoy your time with your mama!
What a great photo! Enjoy your BB week! Going home soon – haven’t seen my girls & grandkids since the end of August!
that is a great photo, and I had to laugh at what you said…my father in law was here for a week last week and my little one was all over him, I had some time to myself…it was a nice break…grandparents are the bestest
Enjoy BB week! As a Canadian, I was wondering if BB is an American or southern name for grandmother. Or is it something H called your mother when she started to talk? π
L.O.V.E!!
Enjoy!!
As a grammy – this is the best! Having those babies run to you and throw their arms around you too! Unexplainable the love that flows and that they can do nothing wrong! Heartwarming!
Mamaw is my “southern” name for my grandmother. My mom is Grandma Mary and Jason’s mom is Grandma Judy. Joey’s great-grandmothers were Gigi and Mamee. No matter what you call them, it sure is great to have them around! Glad the girls are getting to spend some time with BB!
These moment are so special and precious, being a Grandma is the best π
ENJOY!!!! I love those times when I am not needed by my kids!
Awwwww………..enjoy your week!
Hello to BB from Kay Clanton. Love to you all.
I’m glad that you are as blessed as I am to have parents who lavish love on your children. I didn’t have that growing up and am so glad that my children get to receive that blessing. I am fortunate enough to have parents who live in town so they try to take my kids for an overnight at least once per month. I try not to EVER take it for granted.
enjoy your ‘break’ and family time π
Stephanie–enjoy your time with your mom! My kids loved it when my parents would come to visit-or we would go there. But I was thinking about what you said about blogging and what to talk about. I get your emails at work and when I see Just me and my 2 little chicks–a smile comes and my thoughts are, “what is that Stephanie up to now?” It is such a nice little break and it is like a little card in the mail to make my day. I take a sec and read about your family, I love your scrapbook pages, and then I go back to work with a smile on my face. You can talk about anything you want, just know that your posts are a sweet break in someones day. Happy Holidays
Wow carol. What a kind thing to say. Thank you so much!! Xoxo

I love that photo – it just captures the pure love and extreme joy they have at seeing each other. Fabulous!
I don’t have kids, but I used to go visit my sister and her two little ones (when they were little) for two weeks every summer. Starting in June, the kids would constantly ask when Aunt “Dane” was coming, and for those two weeks that I would be there, they were all about ME. I loved it! And my sister and her hubby did, too, LOL. I will forever remember the feeling of pudgy little arms going around my neck and squeezing, and hearing a soft “I yuv you, Aunt Dane”. Still brings a tear to my eye.
I hope your Mom and your girls (and you!) have an amazing time together!
How exciting for all of you and BBBBBB :). Enjoy your time together!
