And We’re Off

for a weekend with jimmy’s family in beaumont.

which means a 4 plus hour drive.

yippee!!!! (not)

i’m sure they will both find a way to cry the whole time OR since jimmy’s in the car

neither one of them will cry and they will be perfect angels.

cuz that’s how it seems to work, haha!!

we had a pretty good week.

harper and i have been having lots

of heart to hearts

since her behavior at the baptism.

time outs work well with her.

she HATES to be in trouble,

and it breaks her heart to be punished.

but it works.

she listens to me and apologizes for her behavior

then doesn’t really do it again.

she’s a good girl.

i think she is just struggling with wanting to

be independent and wanting autonomy,

but also realizing

she can’t do everything she thinks she can.

it’s hard being a parent, huh??

but also pretty rewarding, i think.
