You guys enjoyed my Teen Girl Gift Guide so much, I thought I’d make one for girls Cate and Lucy’s age (they are ten, turning eleven next week).
My girls still love playing and imagining and…being little. And I love that. If you have a tween who skews older then this might not work for you. Sadie Howell would not have liked this list. Bahaha! But if you have tweens that still enjoy being little kids, then this is for you,
- Joules Unicorn Slippers – HOW CUTE ARE THESE? They have other versions of slippers (like these CUTE DACHSHUNDS) , but these were my fave. Slippers are always a big hit around here and these felt mules are age-appropriate and a-dor-able.
- First Aid Pure Skin Face Cleanser– C&L are super curious about skincare but they don’t really NEED anything yet. I’m all about teaching them to cleanse their skin at night, and First Aid is such a wonderful clean brand. It’s scent free and good for sensitive skin.
- Kidpik Everything Ruffle Gift Box– This curated box is ADORABLE. There’s a version with and without shoes, and the second option is more affordable. This website is new to me and I’m already a huge fan. They also offer subscription services.
- Fatbrain DIY Movie Projector– Cate is a HUGE fan of STEM activities and toys and I fell in love with this project as soon as I saw it. Your kiddo can build an actual movie projector that works. No batteries or glue required!
- Winter Holiday Bracelet Pack- My girls have loved sparkle from day 1. I love the metallic accents and charms in this sweet set.
- Tinker Crate– We are huge fans of this STEM subscription box and it’s like Christmas every single time one shows up on our doorstep.
- Pink Quilted Shoulder Bag– One of my favorite tween girl gifts is a cute handbag with a wallet full of gift cards and lip gloss inside. THIS IS ALWAYS A HIT. Trust me. This bag is so freaking cute- I love the heart accent.
- 5 Second Rule Game– Everyone in our family has fun with this one. It can be frustrating (especially for mom, who has zero brains left) but it makes us LAUGH. I love giving family games as gifts, the whole family benefits.
- Lego Heartlake City Grand Hotel– This one is at the top of Cate’s list this year and I CAN SEE WHY. Literally the cutest thing ever. I will one hundred percent do this with her. And keep it up as a decoration.
- New Balance Sneakers– Tweens are such a fun, sweet, great age. They are still kids, but like to level up when it comes to things like sneakers and purses. These sneaks are just too cute. I love the colors- but if your kiddo doesn’t like soft shades, there are four colorways.
- Pajama Set– If the past 2 years have taught us anything , it’s the art of elevating our loungewear. Pajama sets are always, always a good idea and this JCrew set is sure to be soft and durable. And there’s foiled glitter!!
- Panda Earrings– I mean, aren’t these the CUTEST? And they are Kate Spade and half price right now. GUYYYSSS. PANDAS! So darn sweet.
- Joules Floral Half-Zip Sweatshirt– I just love this brand. So durable and classic and feminine and age-appropriate. My girls would love this top.
- Knotted Headband– Cora and Lucy are currently SUPER obsessed with knot headbands. And I cannot even tell you how adorable they look in them. Sigh. I love this JCrew version. They have several different types!
Whew! These posts are a labor of love but so much fun for me to source and research and design. Please let me know if you are enjoying these- I can do one for 5-6 year old girls, too!
Happy Thursday, friends.
